Role Description


The Talent Hub Manager is responsible for managing and growing a dynamic and supportive online community on Discord for emerging professionals. This individual will foster engagement, provide resources, and create networking opportunities to help diverse talent thrive in the location-based experience industry. The Talent Hub Manager will cultivate a positive and inclusive space for skill-building, mentorship, and collaboration.


Anticipated commitment is 2-5 hours a week.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee and moderate the Talent Hub Discord server, ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment for all members.

  • Facilitate discussions, encourage active participation, and respond to community questions to drive engagement and build a supportive, active online network.

  • In collaboration with the Talent Programs Specialist, organize and host regular virtual events, such as Q&As, panel discussions, career workshops, and networking sessions.

  • Curate and share valuable resources for members, such as job opportunities, career advice, industry news, and other professional development materials.

  • Create and maintain channels within Discord for specific topics to ensure members can find relevant and actionable information.

  • Collect feedback from members to continuously improve the community experience and better address their needs.


Qualifications


  • Experience in community management, digital engagement, or social media moderation.

  • Familiarity with Discord, including server management, bots, and channels.

  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.

  • Passion for promoting inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in the Location-Based Experience industry.


This is a professional volunteer position with an anticipated commitment of 2-5 hours per week. As a Talent Hub Manager you will play an essential role in supporting Big Break Foundation's mission.
